English Sonnet II
by Kozaka
Daily monotony, desperation
Without you, there is no joy, excitement
To hear your voice, a celebration
The evening is open to improvement
Beginning with an inquiry, sincere
Demonstrating that you care, regardless
How mundane my activities appear
And there is no feeling of emptiness
As we continue our conversation
You reveal modesty and intellect
Thus intensifying the attraction
Along with my devotion and respect
For every intangible quality
You are even more beautiful to me
Daily monotony, desperation
Without you, there is no joy, excitement
To hear your voice, a celebration
The evening is open to improvement
Beginning with an inquiry, sincere
Demonstrating that you care, regardless
How mundane my activities appear
And there is no feeling of emptiness
As we continue our conversation
You reveal modesty and intellect
Thus intensifying the attraction
Along with my devotion and respect
For every intangible quality
You are even more beautiful to me
